Thrash metal legends Megadeth released their 17th album, and it’s being billed as their final record. While I’ve heard plenty of their songs, this is the first Megadeth album I’ve listened to from start to finish. Despite similarities with other genres I like, namely punk and hardcore, I’m not a metal guy. Never had a metal phase in middle or high school, unless the early progenitors like Zeppelin count. Despite all this, I’ve had an odd fascination with Megadeth singer/guitarist/driving force Dave Mustaine since I first heard him ask the still unanswered question, “peace sells… but who’s buying?”
