For this week’s Quick Take, we decided to do a double-take, if you will, and have two of us discuss, given the milestone that is the release of the first solo record by a Beastie. In the end, as usual, Brian has the most complete thoughts about the record (spoiler alert: other than “Crypto,” Brian comes to appreciate the record, especially given the losses of this past week). Brad adds some additional thoughts at the end about what it means to have an actual OG come back like this (spoiler alert: if only it not been called it a Mike D album…).
